Alright, so I'm on my quest for a wand. I know the wand I want, the one that calls for me. It's not cheap. It's a fuckin' Harry Potter wand from Allivans, of all things. Made of ebony. So it's simple: No crystals, no wire, no markings. It's just right for me. Just a straight-up ebony wand. That's definitely my style.

I'm reading The Outer Temple of Witchcraft and going through each exercise and homework. The thing I find coming up for me again and again has to do with the elements and their directions. I find that I just cannot work with four elements; I always feel like I'm missing something. I realized today just how ingrained my concept of a fivefold elemental system is, and it feels just so very, very right to me.
