Wednesday:

• This day is controlled by Mercury
• Being born on hump day is either a sign of a woeful life, that the child will grow up ‘merry and glad’.
• Wednesday is the best day of the week to schedule things of a medical nature.
• If you have to write a letter asking for favors, write the letter on a Wednesday.
• If you sneeze on a Wednesday you may soon receive a letter.
• Do not get married on a Wednesday.
• Alternatively, Wednesday is the BEST day of the week to get married on.
• It’s unwise to buy expensive things in the middle of the week.
• Try to avoid wearing gloves on a Wednesday.
• It’s OK to trim your nails on Wednesday, but Monday and Tuesday are better.
• It’s fine to get your hair cut on a Wednesday (or Monday or Tuesday for that metter).
• A Wednesday that falls on a new moon is generally considered bad.
• Though Wednesdays in general are considered Lucky (especially in the US).

Wednesday's angel is Raphael, whose name means "God heals". He is the patron saint of medical workers. It is also noteable that as the angel of Wednesday, he follows Samael (see Tuesday), and in his biblical debut in the Book of Tobit binds demons and cures blindness.
